- Temple Restoration and Preservation
Overview
A milestone rooted in faith and history, the Foundation served as the principal contributor to the Punnar Prathishta of Sri Viswakesana at the Padmanabhaswamy Temple, one of the most sacred sites in Vaishnavism. Held in the presence of the Travancore Royal Family and the Devaswom Board, the ceremony coincided with the Mahakumbhabhishekam after nearly 270 years. This initiative reflects the Foundation’s continued commitment to restoring South India’s cultural, philosophical, and spiritual legacy.

HERITAGE REVIVAL
We are proud to have been the principal contributor to the Punnar Prathishta (re-consecration) of the sacred idol of Sri Viswakesana at the inner sanctum sanctorum of the Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala - one of the most exalted and holiest sites in Sanatana Dharma.
The temple is one among the 108 holiest sites in Vaishnavism (Divya Desams), as glorified by the great poet-saint Nammazhwar (an incarnation of Vishwaksena) in the Dravida Veda (Divya Prabandham).
The consecration ceremony was held in the presence of the Travancore Devaswom Board and the Travancore Royal Family on 8th June 2025 and coincided with the Mahakumbhabhishekam, the first time in 270 years.
This marks another important initiative for us to uphold the eternal cultural, philosophical, and spiritual values of our great civilisation, and a significant milestone in the restoration and conservation of the great temples of South India.
