Overview
A restorative effort that brought vitality back to a temple tank steeped in cultural mythology. By clearing accumulated waste and redirecting Cauvery water, the initiative revived daily worship and restored a crucial water source for surrounding areas returning both cultural significance and community benefit to the space.

HERITAGE REVIVAL
This is a dedicated clean-up drive aimed to restore the Saranatha Perumal Temple tank to its original vitality by systematically removing accumulated waste and redirecting Cauvery water into the tank.
The initiative also focuses on preserving the tank’s cultural significance and preserving a piece of mythology as this is the place where Goddess Cauvery was blessed with her divinity.
Giving the tank back its cultural significance has also restored the practice of daily worship in the temple and has become a source of fresh water to the nearby areas.
