Recently restored, the Narasimha shrine now features a renewed structure and copper-clad roof, reflecting the efforts to preserve India’s sacred heritage.

HERITAGE REVIVAL
The Veeranimangalam Mahadeva Temple is believed to be over a thousand years old, this ancient temple in Kerala’s Thrissur district is dedicated to Lord Mahadeva and Lord Narasimha and has long stood as a spiritual anchor for the surrounding community.
Temple tradition holds that the Shiva lingam here was consecrated by Sage Parashurama, the sixth incarnation of Lord Maha Vishnu. While Lord Shiva is the principal deity, it is Lord Narasimha who is revered as the presiding divine presence of the temple.
Today, we are humbled to see the Narasimha shrine renewed with its restored structure and a newly completed copper-clad roof, an offering of care that allows this sacred space to continue welcoming generations of devotees.
