HERITAGE REVIVAL

This session offered an engaging introduction to the world of traditional textiles, led by Ms.Supria Radaraman Trustee, Angadi Foundation. Drawing from her deep involvement with India’s craft and textile traditions, she guided participants through the language of weaves exploring how fibres behave, how techniques evolve across regions, and how identity and cultural memory are carried within every handloom.

Through thoughtful insights and practical examples, the session revealed the many layers behind a textile from raw fibre and weaving methods to the stories and communities that sustain these traditions.
